Bold, eclectic and progressive – that has always been the spirit at UC Berkeley. When designing the logo and digital menu boards for four new on-campus dining concepts, we celebrated the Golden Bears and the school colors of blue and gold. True Blue Burgers takes a playful approach to shapes and letter combinations, while Asado uses an illustrative graphic style to communicate its menu of Mexican favorites. For a school known for stellar math and science programs, we made the most of the double meaning of pizza “pi.” And for the Bear’s Lair, we put the school mascot front and center for a menu offering high-quality pub food and local brews.
